Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data the CYBERLIFE website collects, why and on what legal basis we process it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. It is prepared in accordance with Law No. 195/2024 of the Republic of Moldova on personal data protection.

1. Data controller

The data controller is CYBERLIFE — a computer club and esports platform based in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. For any question about data processing, contact us via the address given in «Contact for requests».

2. What data we collect

On registration: name (nickname), e-mail address, password in hashed form. Optionally, if you provide them: Telegram username, Steam and Discord identifiers, avatar, city. Via the contact form: name, e-mail, phone and message text. Automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time of the visit.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Creating and running your account, tournament participation and team features — basis: performance of a contract with you. Replying to contact-form enquiries — basis: our legitimate interest in answering. Traffic analytics and advertising performance — basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. Security and abuse prevention — basis: legitimate interest.

4. Sharing with third parties

We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) for traffic analysis. This is a transfer to a third party: with your consent, cookie identifiers, a truncated IP address and information about visited pages are transmitted. Data may be processed outside the Republic of Moldova, including in the USA, under Google's standard contractual clauses. Without your consent analytics runs in cookieless mode: only anonymous signals are sent, with no device identification. We also use Telegram and Discord — only if you linked those accounts yourself.

5. Retention periods

Account data is kept while the account exists and is deleted within 30 days after deletion. Contact-form enquiries — 12 months. Server technical logs — 14 days. Analytics data — per Google Analytics retention settings, no longer than 14 months.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure, receive a machine-readable copy, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw your analytics consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it. We answer requests within 30 days.

7. Cookies and analytics

Strictly necessary cookies (session, form protection, chosen language and theme) are always set — the site does not work without them. Google Analytics cookies are set only after your consent. You can change your mind by clearing site data in your browser: the banner will appear again.
